Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100% Bio generates its own electricity through a photovoltaic system and heats water with solar energy. The remaining energy comes from a carbon-neutral pellet heating system. Guests can charge their electric vehicles at on-site charging stations, and the hotel was awarded Hotelier of the Year 2017 for its commitment to sustainability.

The hotel offers a 100% organic breakfast buffet with homemade jams, cakes, and tea from the Sonnentor brand. Vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free options are available, and the breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace in fine weather. A coffee house on site and special diet menus are also offered.
